Cliff Richards - The old veteran

Cliff Richards was born to be a gangster and a criminal but learned discipline the hard way. After he had been kicked out of school due to his malevolent behavior and some major incidents the School board decided to expel him for an unlimited period of time. His mother and father was crushed, but they saw one last chance, the US Army. In the early sixties he was recruited and was shipped to Vietnam where he survived and made the rank of Sergeant which he kept all trough his career. I wasn’t found of studies so he didn’t make it to be a lieutenant, but sergeant suited him fine. During his military career he earned a lot of prestige and got several medals for bravery and loyalty. He was the excellent soldier. The last war Cliff ever fought was in the middle-east. He was a victim of bad strategic planning and fell for an ambush in Operation Desertstorm.

Memorial Monument
This memorial monument was built right after Operation Desert-storm and Cliff Richards was one of the first to be honored on the monument. The monument itself is a marble piece reaching the dimension 6 feet high and 10 feet wide. Carved and filled with gold are all the names of those fine patriots who gave their lives in the Desert.

Bass High
Bass High was the place of his studies in his early years. During the early 60’s he was recruited by the US Army after had been thrown out of Bass High due to violent behavior and lack of discipline. He was just a lad at the time but was soon facing real life in the war towards Vietnam. Cliff Richards have some nasty memories from the time at Bass High filled with anger.

Medals
Cliff Richards served the army with pride and loyalty and earned for his efforts several medals. Among them was the purple hart for being wounded. The medals symbolize dedication and loyalty to him, Cliff was a true patriot serving his country. The medals are currently at his still living grandma.

Severin Bar
Severin Bar is not a very fancy place at all but here Cliff spent hours after hours drowning his sorrows with whiskey and beer. The place is somewhat filled with memories of the past and who he wasted his postwar life. The bar is situated right outside Little Five Points and is placed in the corned of a large residential house. The entire bar is filled with old sports memorabilia such as old baseball bats and pictures of football heroes.

Dark Passions

Command others into doing hosts wish (Selfishness)
All the time spent in the Army formed Cliff into becoming a sadistic superior officer wanna-be. The spoken word of Cliff Richards should be seen as law and everyone should obey whether they are military trained or not. Discipline is the key to a success in battle and some one have to rule others. This passion is the most dominating of the Shadow and should be considered very dangerous since the character often aid the Shadow when commanding others into doing his wish. This passion should be castigated by the Host to any given price since it will take command sooner or later.
Hurt people who are racially pure (Anger)
Cliff’s views upon white supremacists have shaped this passion and the Shadow feeds from it. The Shadow claims that its host is a victim and that he got to do something radical about it. Hatred should be faced with hatred not tolerance.
Save oppressed by helping them commit suicide (Despair)
The oppressed doesn’t deserve the type of life they live. Everyone should have food, shelter and clean clothes. Those who have fallen out of the system and those not wanted anymore should find a better life beyond the Shroud and Cliff is the one to help them. This dark passion is a very complex one since Cliff’s passion to protect the oppressed.



Passions

Show the importance of Loyalty (Pride)
In war times loyalty is the most important trait one can possess. Every soldier must invest trust and thus show loyalty, otherwise getting killed would be a fact. This is a trait everyone close to him or not must learn otherwise he could start a three hour lecture or even get violent. There is no room for those with no pride and loyalty. Cliff Richards is a true patriot and to be a patriot one must show loyalty.
Get a wife (Love)
Cliff Richard wasted his mortal life and never found the true love he always dreamt of during his long nights at the frontiers. He believes that each man should have a woman who shall love and nourish the man. To help other men realize the truth that one must love another human being is also a part of this passion of his.
Fight injustice (Anger)
The black man was always oppressed by the white man and this according to Cliff Richards is totally wrong. Each man and woman are of equal value even if is black, white, green or yellow. To fight racism is a driving passion of his and sometimes the Shadow exploit this since it can feed on the more violent feelings of his.
Protect the oppressed (Anger)
There are so many people who doesn’t even have enough money to buy food or shelter. This is wrong, each man shall have enough food, money for clothes and a roof to sleep under. This is fundamental and those who disagree should be lectured.
